History
The Davies and Charles families of Brymbo, Denbighshire, were linked by the marriage, in the early twentieth century, of Goronwy H. Charles and the daughter of Daniel Davies of Jessamine Cottage, Lodge, Brymbo, a winding engineman at Plas Power Colliery, Southsea, Wrexham, Flintshire. Goronwy Charles had a daughter, Dorothy. John Charles (d. 1941), brother of Goronwy, collected material relating to the Brymbo area.
