Sefydlwyd Cymdeithas Merriman ym 1967 i gofio am y bardd enwog o'r ddeuanwfed ganrif, Brian Merriman, yn ogystal ag i hyrwyddo pob nodwedd o ddiwylliant Gwyddelig: llenyddiaeth Gwyddelig, hanes Gwyddelig, llenyddiaeth a cherddoriaeth. -- The file consists of correspondence and information relating to arrangements for a meeting of the Merriman Society in Cardiff in June 1988. Cumann Merriman (The Merriman Society) was founded in 1967 to commemorate the eighteenth century poet, Brian Merriman and his work, and in addition, to promote interest in every aspect of Irish culture: the Irish language, Irish history, literature and music.
