  1. Ieuan ap Meredith of the town of Brecknock, yeoman, Rees ap Ieuan, his son, of Ystradvelltey, yeoman, and Gwenllian, his wife. 2. Thomas ap Ieuan ap Rees of Ystradvelltey, yeoman. Covenant concerning the partition of a m. and lands called Tir Aberllia in Ystrad velltey, extending in length from a brook called Nant Llewelin goch to the highway called Rhiwgyvalva and in breadth from a river or brook called Llia to the lands of Morgan ap Richard in the occupation of Rees Llewelin David ap Rees, a moiety of which Thomas ap Ieuan had purchased by a deed of 20 Aug. 1599 from Rees ap Ieuan and Gwenllian, his wife, the other half being in the tenure of Ieuan ap Meredith for life, with reversion to Rees ap Ieuan and Gwenllian, his wife. The m. and lands were previously held by the parties in common. Under this agreement, Ieuan ap Meredith is to have for life, with the reversion as stated above, the part called ynys willy and all m's and lands upon the same, together with closes called Koet gae r ardd vawr, erw r maen lloyd, ynherer vagh, erw varged, erw r Tir marle, yr ardd galch, y Klwttyn bagh, erw wair mynydd, Kaer maen lloyd, bryn y gwenyn, y wayn vawr, y wayn vagh, Kem y pwll dwr, and the lower half of Kaer lloyn and the barn thereon, the woods growing on the said lower half of Kaer lloyn only excepted. Thomas ap Ieuan ap Rees is to have the capital m. wherein he dwells, an outhouse belonging called y Ty wrth y ffynnon, and closes called Kae r wrlodd, erw r gerddinen, yr erw, rhwng y ddwy garn, ynhererw ver, erw lle r hen ysgibor, erw wair mynydd, Kae r pant, ynys y bregeth, bryn y kynnyd, Kwm y nant vyghan, and all the lands from the way there leading towards the mountain and from the new wall there intended to be made to the river or brook called llia, a parcel of lands called Gwrlode r mynydd, and the lower half of a close called Koetgae r pwll dy.
