History
In 1749 Anna Maria, daughter of John Herbert of Court Henry, Carmarthenshire, married Francis Dyer, who settled at Court Henry . Their only child, Sarah, married William Philipps, a barrister, in about 1784. In 1809, he sold Court Henry to Commander Henry Lloyd who subsequently sold it to the Rev. George Wade Green of Titherington Vicarage, Gloucestershire. His second daughter, Mary Anne, married David Saunders of Ty Mawr, Cilcennin, Cardiganshire, in 1845, and on the death of her father in 1868 purchased Court Henry.
