Series LA1 - Corwen deeds and documents

Title deeds of houses and lands belonging to the Rug estate in the townships of Bonwm and Rhagad, and the parish of Corwen, 1529-1717. Boundary clauses consistently refer to the river Llechog and the house of John ap David ap John. The properties include Ty y Monwm, Y Penty Mawr, Y Ty Wen, Yr Ardd Newydd, Erw Dole Woogan, Erw'r Llechwedd, etc., most of which were purchased by Eubule Thelwall of Nantclwyd, Denbighshire, between 1659 and 1684.
