Towyn as is usually repaired by the inhabitants of Dauddyfin, Kefn-rhos, Vaynol and Iseyravon in the said p., his books, heirlooms, livestock, etc., to his eldest son Jenkin Vaughan and his wife Anne Vaughan. Devises a capital m. called Gwyddgwion, m's called Tythyn Mawr in Aberdyfi, Tythyn Mawr yn Penhelig, otherwise Tythyn Jenkin John Evan, a m. and garden in Aberdyfi wherein William Rees David lives, a m. in Aberdyfi late in the tenure of John Thomas Griffith, dec., m's and houses in the same in the tenures of David Richard, William John Griffith, Lewis Morgan, William Peterson, Rees Rowland, Thomas David, Peter William Rees, Robert Heyward, Edward Hughes and testator, the great storehouse called Y Ty Llwyd, the lime kiln and lime storehouse, the fishing in the river Dyfi, his stone and slate quarries, anchoring places and quays and all his other storehouses lying between the brooks of Penhelig and Aberdyfi, m's called Tythyn Rees or Gader Llety Dio Bach or Graig, Erwgoch and Treveddian Ucha, a meadow being part of Tythin Pwll, m's called Tythin Sysillt, Treveddian Issa, Nant y Gwythwrch, Aberglinglin, Isegland and Pen y Lan Wen, parcels of land called Tire Obediw and Tire Tanglwst, m's called Tythin y Pwll, Tire y Bosogin, Rhosfever and Hanner Selef and part of Pant Coch in the tenure of William Morris, John Edward and testator, m's called Tythyn y Berth, Blaen Sycnant, Bryn Bodackin, Erw Gwenllian and Tythyn Treefyrnant otherwise Tythin y Wennallt, parcel of a meadow called Gwairglawdd Erw Aels, a m. and fulling mill called Tythin yr Hene Bandy and m's called Y Gwastadgoed, otherwise Tythin Elin William and Cwrt Issa, in t's Cathley, Gwrych, Vaynol, Kefnrhose, Trefeddion, Aberdyfi, Penhelig, Dauddyffryn, Iseyravon and Cynvel, p. Towin, to his wife Anne for life in lieu of dower, and after her death to trustees to pay several legacies and annuities including money for the maintenance of his son John Vaughan whilst he remains an apprentice to Edward Strode of Lincolns Inn; m's called Tythyn y Penrhyn, otherwise Glan y Wern, Tir y Ffynon Vawr, Tir Eithinog, Y Vadfa, otherwise Y Ddy Vadfa, t's Cathley and Kefnrhoes aforesaid, to trustees for the benefit of his son Lewis Vaughan for life; purchased lands called Brynhyffwyn and Yniswen, t. Trevrion aforesaid, to trustees to maintain Anne John Edward, a lunatic, in accordance with an agreement made by testator and her father John Edward at the time testator purchased the said premises; a m. garden and parcel of meadow called Gwairglawdd y Gwtter, [p. Tywyn], to his servant Rees Jones for life, m's called Tythyn y Skian, Talrhyn, Tir David ap Adda, Rhos y Dome, Tythyn Ty yn y Parke, Penrhyn Skian, Y Llechlwyd Issa, Gwern y Llechlwyd, Gwern y Gamlas Goch, Tythin Ty yn y Maes, Gwairglawdd Lub, Tythin Rees ap Mevrick yn Bryn Rhyg and Talare Poethion, several parcels of land in the tenure of David John William and Griffith ap Robert formerly purchased from Rice Vaughan of Glandyfan, co. Pemb., and m's called Brynhyfrwyn, Yniswen, Crenffernel and Havoty Hugh Lleto to trustees in trust for his sons John, Henry, Hugh, Griffith and Richard for their lives and the longest liver of them, after his younger sons, the said Hugh, Griffith and Richard have been bound apprentices, trustees to provide portions for his daughter, and after determination of the said trusts all the m's are devised to his eldest son Lewis Vaughan.
