Copy of an indented deed of perpetual feefarm by David ap Ieuan ap Llewelyn and Ieuan ap David ap Ieuan of Kilken, co. Denbigh, gentleman, to John ap Nicolas of Kilken, gentleman, of two tenements in the township of Kilken, and hundred of Istulas, co. Denbigh, (1) called Tythen hen lying between a moor called Tervyn tyer and the highway called Keven forth, a ditch there called Clauth helige, and the lands of David ap Eigion and Nant y pistill, and (2) called y Karw, lying between y Keven forth and Lloyn Kilken, the River Reesmerch, the lands of Ieuan ap David Lloid, and the commons of Kilken, at a yearly rent of 8sh. Paper. English. On the back of this document the following is contained, viz: Acknowledgement by William Vaughan of Bodrichwine, co. Denbigh, Esqre, that he owes £6. 0. 0., to Daniel Lloid ap Ieuan ap Hughe, and undertaking for due. payment thereof. Dated: 6th November, 1613. Wafer Seal; a merchant's mark.
