    Lease and release by 2, 3, 4 and 5 to 6 of the great wood, coppice and wood ground called Hadnock’s Wood, p. Dixon, co. Mon. in trust to the uses specified in a release of 30 October 1713.
    Recites: a mortgage of 28-29 November 1700 by Benedict Hall, son and heir of Henry Benedict Hall, dec. and others (named), executors of the will of Sir John Mathews of London, kt. dec. to Thomas Horde; an assignment of mortgage, 23 March 1712 by T.H. to 3 in trust to pay funds into the hands of Thomas Palmer for investment; a lease and release of 29-30 October 1713 by Benedict Hall and Jane his then wife, with Thomas Gage, then of Sherborn, co. Oxon., to Richard Bagott, since dec., and Edmund Probyn in trust to sell the wood among other diverse properties; that R.B. died, leaving 6 as sole trustee; an action in the High Court of Chancery by Thomas Gage, plt. against Jane Pitt (then Jane Palmer), her trustees and 3, defts, 1 June 1715; the will of Thomas Horde, 12 August 1712 and codicils, and a deed of appointment of 21 September 1715, directing the payment of specified sums to Mary Horde; a subsequent court order 18 March 1716/7; the revival of the cause after the death of M.H. by her executors (4); that 6 at the direction of 1 and in pursuance of notice under the court order has produced the money owing on the original mortgage; and a further order made at the petition of 1 of even date [25 April 1719] that all parties join in a proper conveyance.
