Administrative history

Meetings were held at Hundleton from about 1820 onwards. In 1845 Hundleton joined with Pembroke, during which time another chapel building was built. Then between 1888 and 1891 Hundleton joined with Gilead, Maiden-Wells. According to local knowledge the chapel was closed between 1939 and 1944. From 1953 till 1970 Hundleton shared a pastorate with Westgate Church, Pembroke. Then in 1970 Hundleton joined the chapels of Thorne, St. Andrews, Westgate, Wallastone and Gilead to form the Pembroke Presbyterian Pastorate. The congregation was forced to move out of the chapel in 1995 and the building was demolished in December 1996 although the congregation kept meeting until July 1997. Hundleton was in the Presbytery of Pembrokeshire before it was moved, along with the other local English chapels, to the Pembroke District of the South Pembrokeshire Presbytery.
