Some 2121 letters, 1922-1978, addressed to Mary Casey, comprising 1192 from her mother Lucy Penny, 1922-1978, 249 from her husband Gerard Casey, 1945-1978, and 680 from other family and friends, 1917-1978; together with 619 letters to Gerard Casey, 1939-1996, including 326 from Mary, 1945-1979; and five letters, 1953-1954, from Gerard Casey to his brother Patrick.
