Abstracts of Cardiff and Newport leases. The book starts with Cardiff leases numbered A-D, dated 1824-1866, followed by Cardiff leases numbered 1-27, dated 1838-1852. The pages containing these leases were then sewn shut, and the book reused for leases numbered 1000-1229, dated 1833-1884, being Blocks 34-36 [?in Newport]. The volume is intitled ‘Cardiff. Summary of leases’ and endorsed ‘Part of Newport. Baldwin St-Jeddo Street and district, and Tredegar, Bute, Ruperra, Cardiff. Incomplete’.
