Biographical history
Bryn Owen was born in Merionethshire in 1928 and educated at Dolgellau Grammar School. He spent 23 years serving the Navy. In 1978 he was appointed Curator of the Welsh Regiment Museum based in Cardiff Castle. He has written a number of articles and books on Welsh military history. He died in 1999.
