The papers have been arranged into parish files in alphabetical order (ABL /1-25), followed by a number of subject files (railways, local authorities, unused forms of leases, and notices to quit) (ABL /126-29). The parish files include leases in the borough of Brecon and copyhold leases in the Hallimote Court of Brecon. Ystradgynlais leases (ABL 1), Ystradgynlais mineral leases (ABL 2) and Brecon leases (ABL 3) have been arranged into separate series. The Brecon leases are mainly surrenders and admissions in the Hallimote Court of the manor of Brecon. -- The Breconshire estate included a number of properties in Radnorshire, including in the parish of Glasbury.
