Administrative history
The Brecon Beacons National Park Authority administers the Brecon Beacons National Park. The Brecon Beacons National Park Committee comprises locally and nationally appointed members. The committee is divided into a number of sub-committees, development control panels and working groups. Besides development control, the committee advises on work related to listed buildings, building design, conservation areas and future land use.
Archival history
The papers were accumulated by Dr C. Stephen Briggs, a committee member nominated by the Secretary of State for Wales.

Donated by Dr C. Stephen Briggs of Llangwyrfon, Ceredigion, in 1992, 1993, 1995, 2009 and 2011.
