File comprises election addresses from the Brecon and Radnorshire by-election, held on 1st August 2019, following the recall of the incumbent MP, Chris Davies. Plaid Cymru and the Wales Green Party decided not to contest the election, instead backing Welsh Liberal Democrat candidate Jane Dodds in order to avoid splitting the anti-Brexit vote.

Plaid Cymru, the Welsh Liberal Democrats and the Green Party entered into a 'Remain Alliance' with Plaid Cymru and the Green Party standing down in Brecon and Radnorshire and endorsing the Welsh Liberal Democrats as the best placed candidate in favour of the UK remaining a member of the European Union.
