Attached is a letter from Gilbert McAllister to Clement Davies, 31 December 1957. Regrets that Clement Davies and Jano were unable to attend a party to welcome Janet Hartog back from her travels. Is enclosing a bound volume of the first volume of World, 'containing as it does such a considerable record of your wonderful work for world peace, and we got most of the guests to sign the book which I am now sending you'.
