"Bill of Complaint" (no. 1278) addressed to the Council of the Marches of Wales, by Rees ap John ap Ieuan of Nantglyn, co. Denb., against John Gruff' ap Ieuan for alleged stopping right of way to a messuage and lands in Nantglyn aforesaid, and praying a commission to adjudicate in the matter. Endorsed with an order at Ludlowe 5 April 1995; Comission by the Council of the Marches (no. 1279) to Richard Parry to examine the parties and settle the case. Given under the Queen's signet at the Castle of Ludlow, 7 April 1595; Decision of the abovesaid Commisioner (no. 1280), ordering the complaint to have his right of way "from the highway leading from Nantglyn to Avon llyn y pandy over a close called Kay r fynwent in Nantglyn Sanctorum to a meadow called y weirglodd in Nantglyn Canon". etc. Dated at Nantglyn, 26 April 1595.
