Bill Of Complaint in Chancery of Richard Goodall, citizen and merchant taylor of London, plaintiff, against Robert Boddington and Dorothy, his wife, Thomas Martyn and Jane, his wife, John Oldbury and his daughters, Mary and Dorothy. Plaintiff claims payment for himself and his dec. father-in-law, Thomas Strong, citizen and harberdasher of London, for having managed the affairs of Thomas, John and Charles Boone, late of Mount Boone, Devon. Plaintiff states that his father-in-law was put to great expense in attempting to salvage £4,000 or £5,000 in cash of the money of Thomas Boone which he had stored in a large iron chest in his house in Lombard street at the time of the dreadful fire, and was forced to give a very great rate for the use of a cart to carry boxes of money.
