The tunes are mostly anonymous but there are items ascribed to the Reverend J[ohn] D[avid] Edwards, John Ashton, Trefeglwys, W[illiam] Owen [Prysgol], J[oseph] D[avid] Jones, 1851, and D. P. Price, Cazenovia.

One leaf (which appears to have been used at one time in the binding of a volume) of a document which would seem to be a copy of a manifesto by a French king - possibly Louis XIII or Henri IV - at the conclusion of a military campaign - possibly one of the French religious wars - in which he stresses his lack of funds with which to pay his Swiss mercenaries, repair fortifications and maintain his household, with notes by Egerton B. Phillimore (1856-1937).

A work by H. Marshall, Dolgarrog entitled A Description and History of the Mid-Conway Vale, mainly relating to the parishes of Eglwys Fach, the Abbey, Dolgarrog, Caerhun and Llanbedr.

Over thirty autograph letters, 1884-1885, from Brinley Richards (1819-1885) to J. P. Davies, Baptist minister of ?Caerphilly, mainly relating to Welsh music.

Copies of Drych y Cristion: neu Gadwedigol Ffydd Wedi ei Datguddio ... (Dublin, 1766), Cydymaith Diddan ... (Chester, 1766) and Diddanwch Teuluaidd ... (London, 1763), bound together, with poems by Gruffudd ab Ieuan ap Llewelyn Fychan, Edmwnd Prys, Iolo Goch, etc., added in manuscript.

A copy of 'A Survey of the Manor of Mould with the Rights Membrs and Appurtenances thereof in the County of fflint late parcell of the possessions of James late Earle of Derby . . . 1652'; and of 'Assessmt of ye Parish of Mould to ye 3d Aid Anno 1698'.
