Biographical history
The Awards Sub-committee of the Welsh Joint Education Committee called together between 1953 and 1959 a series of meetings to discuss the problem of LEA awards. These meetings were attended by members of the Awards Sub-committee and representatives of the University which were always the Principals of the constituent colleges. A few of the meetings were also attended by representatives of the Local Education Authorities.
