Llyfr dewiniaeth,

An incomplete manuscript of texts and tables on astrology and witchcraft and medical and other recipes in the hand of 'Dauidd Dafis', 1804. The following are some examples of the titles included in the volume - '... y Deuddeg Arwydd', '[D]rych wynebau', 'Tabl i wybod pa Flauned a Riwlia Bob awr Dros Byth', 'Hyfforddiad i alw Ffasiwn ar ysbrydion a elwir Tylwyth Teg', 'Y Ffordd ar modd I gaul Trysor giddiedig a ffotho wedi Ei gadw oddiwrth iws Dun', 'Ffordd i alw math ar ysbryd a elwir ysbryd Brestt', 'y Ffordd i Ddwad i hyd i Leider a Ddygo Riwbeth oddi arnoch chwi ...', 'ffordd i wneudd Temting Powder i Beri Cariad', 'Dyma Ddeuddeg rhinwedd Croen neider', '... y Graddau', 'Dyma Deyrnasiad y plaunedau', 'Rhod Pithaoras', 'L[l]yfr Ew. Daflus i adnabod Dun wrth i wyneb...', etc. The manuscript is imperfect at the beginning (pp. 1-12 wanting) and probably also at the end (pp. [74] - ). There is a fragment of a late 19th century transcript in the form of an insert, and also three charms in other hands which have been bound into the volume.

Medicine and astrology,

A composite volume belonging to, and partly in the hand of, John Harries (1787-1839), astrologer and medical practitioner, of Pant-coy, Cwrtycadno, Carmarthenshire. It contains transcripts of a medical treatise on 'Galvanism' and of a series of astrological texts ('Of the Figure of the World', 'Monthly Observations', 'Of the judgment of Eclipses', etc.), and extracts from 'Sibly's Astrology' [i.e. Ebenezer Sibly, A new and complete illustration of the Celestial Science of Astrology].

Ser-ddewiniaeth,

An imperfect manuscript containing astrological texts and tables in Welsh and English in the hand of David Jones ('Dewi Fardd'), Trefriw, including 'Brydyn Cymraeg neu Almanac am y flwyddyn ... 1681 oed y byd 5630' by or attributed to 'Robert Lewis M:D:' of Dublin 'Printiedig ir Athro ... om ty yn chequer lane gwedderbyn ac arwydd y Carw Gwyn: Dulyn, o'r Werddon y 10 o fis Gorphenhaf 1680' (ff. 14 verso-16) and 'Astronomi Rheol y Ser ('gwaith Dr. Davies') (ff. 31-6); and also a transcript of 'Digrifwawd neu ymgynhebygiad i owdl y misoedd' by SiƓn Tudur (ff. 7 verso-13).
