Biographical history

In the first six years following its formation, the administrative burden of the English Language Section fell on its voluntary officers. As the section grew, and following the appointment of a paid administrator in 1974, the structure of the section was formalised and the day to day administration of the section was undertaken centrally from the Academi office in Cardiff.
