Biographical history
The Access Development Division was one of five new divisions established as part of the re-organisation of the Arts Council of Wales in 1997. The main purpose of the Division was to ensure that "the people of Wales . . experience the Arts as audiences, viewers, readers and participants." It is responsible for venues, galleries and festivals, marketing, youth arts, community arts voluntary arts, equal opportunities, community touring and residencies.
