The file comprises manuscript drafts of letters from David Jones, most of which concern his work as a writer and artist. The addressees are listed on the wrapper. There are drafts containing information about In Parenthesis, the inscription 'Care Wallia derelicta' ('My favourite inscription I think.'), 'A, a, a, Domine Deus' (the meaning of 'causation projects from pillar to pylon') and the other 'fragments' published in The Sleeping Lord and other fragments, The Anathemata, the drawing 'Merlin Land' and the watercolour drawing 'Caregl Blodeuol'.
